If you don't want to show Adsense ads on certain posts or pages of your blog then don't worry. This article will help you disable Adsense ads (or Google ads) on the page you want without violating any Adsense terms and policies.
There are a lot of pages on a blog where we don't want to show adsense ads. The pages may be homepage, about or contact page, privacy policy page and posts which directly or indirectly violate adsense policies and can lead to the blockage of adsense account.
The pages may also be about affiliate marketing where you don't want your viewers to be distracted by adsense ads. But other different methods like modifying adsense code or hiding adsense ads may not be fruitful as the methods are also against adsense terms and policies.
At one time, I was also searching on this topic but wasn't able to find relevant results. I did some research on Adsense ads and found an easy and very helpful way to disable Adsense ads on one of my blog posts where I had put some contents about movies. Now, I will show you how I did it with instructions and images of the process.
Steps to Disable Adsense ads on a Blogger or Wordpress Post :
- First of all, you need to setup auto ads on your blog which will automatically show ads on various parts of your blog posts and also optimize your revenue. In an overall auto ads reduce the chance of termination of your adsense account and saves your time as you don't need to create various ads code for various ads on your blog.
- After that, go to your Adsense account, click on My ads and then open Auto ads page. Now, click on New URL Group button which is present at right side of the current page.
- And then click go to Add URL present at the right part of the page as shown in the image below.
- Add URL of the page where you don't want to show ads and click on Add button which will add the page URL.
- Give a check mark on the page URL which you have added then click on Next button at the bottom of the current Adsense page.
- Now, Trun off all the ads as shown in the image below and click on Next button.
- Write URL Group Name (you can write whatever you like) then click on Save button.
Conclusion :
Hurry! you have successfully blocked Adsense ads on your blog page. You can add multiple URLs if you want to block Adsense ads on several pages of your blog.
It takes about 30 minutes for ads to be properly disabled from your blog page after you do above process.
